The “pink form”, officially the vehicle registration application, is the official document used to obtain a number plate for a vehicle. Here is what each box expects: information, a field for you to fill in by hand, or an area reserved for your broker.

Where can I get a pink form?
Free of charge from the seller or manufacturer, from your insurer, from a roadworthiness testing centre or from the DIV. For a used vehicle, the testing centre hands it to you, stamped.

How long is it valid?
Two months. After that a new one is needed. So do not start the process too early relative to the registration.

Can I do everything online?
It can be filled in digitally, but the signature remains compulsory. You can send us your completed document and ask for an electronic signature link, or sign it by hand. Cinassur then submits the application to the DIV through WebDIV.

How do I track the delivery of my plate?
The barcoded reference number in box X12 is used for tracking. Once the registration has gone through WebDIV, you can follow the delivery on the bpost tracking site.

Where can I check my registration status and track my plate?
Two official services, two different stages:
- My vehicle, my plate ↗ the FPS Mobility portal: it shows the status of your application, the list of your plates, and lets you obtain proof of deregistration
- bpost tracking ↗ once the plate has been produced, it is shipped by bpost: enter the reference number from box X12 to track the parcel
The first tells you about the registration itself, the second about the physical delivery of the plate.
