Broker status & supervisory authority

Cinassur (Jacis SRL) acts as an insurance intermediary (broker) and is registered with the FSMA (Financial Services and Markets Authority), Rue du Congrès 12-14, 1000 Brussels — www.fsma.be. Since the reform of the intermediaries' register, registration is no longer identified by a separate FSMA number: it is the company number (BCE) 0448.129.211 that identifies the broker in the register.

Cinassur (Jacis SRL) holds no direct or indirect participation of 10% or more of the voting rights or capital of an insurance company; no insurance company (or its parent) holds such a participation in Cinassur.

Mediation & complaints

For any complaint, first contact Cinassur (info@cinassur.be). Failing a solution, you may contact the Insurance Ombudsman, Square de Meeûs 35, 1000 Brussels — www.ombudsman-insurance.be.

Remuneration

For its intermediation activities, Cinassur is in principle remunerated through commissions included in the insurance premium. Any further information on the nature of the remuneration is available on request.

Data protection (GDPR)

The data provided via the contact form (name, contact details, information about your activity and your request) is processed by Cinassur (Jacis SRL), data controller, for the sole purpose of answering your request and, where applicable, drawing up an insurance offer.

Your data is not sold to third parties. It may be shared with the insurance companies concerned only to handle your request. It is kept for as long as necessary for that purpose and for applicable legal obligations.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. To exercise it: info@cinassur.be. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).

This site uses cookies and trackers to operate properly, measure its audience and, with your consent, run marketing activities. Except for strictly necessary cookies, no tracker is activated without your prior consent, collected through the banner shown on your first visit.

We distinguish three categories:

  • Necessary — essential to the operation and security of the site; always on, they do not require consent.
  • Audience measurement — usage statistics to improve the site, via Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd), deployed through Google Tag Manager.
