Broker status & supervisory authority

Cinassur (Jacis SRL) acts as an insurance intermediary (broker) and is registered with the FSMA (Financial Services and Markets Authority), rue du Congrès 12-14, 1000 Brussels — www.fsma.be. Since the reform of the intermediaries' register, registration is no longer identified by a separate FSMA number: the company number (BCE) 0448.129.211 identifies the broker in the register.

Cinassur (Jacis SRL) holds no participation, direct or indirect, of 10% or more of the voting rights or capital of an insurance company; no insurance company (or its parent) holds such a participation in Cinassur.

Mediation & complaints

For any complaint, first contact Cinassur (info@cinassur.be). Failing a solution, you may contact the Insurance Ombudsman, Square de Meeûs 35, 1000 Brussels — www.ombudsman-insurance.be.

Remuneration

For its intermediation activities, Cinassur is in principle remunerated by commissions included in the insurance premium. Any further information on the nature of the remuneration can be obtained on request.

Data protection (GDPR)

The data provided via the quote request form (name, contact details, company number, activity, headcount and payroll, insurance and claims history, attached documents) is processed by Cinassur (Jacis SRL), data controller, solely to handle your request and prepare a workplace accident insurance quote.

Some of this data may be sensitive (payroll, claims history, attachments). It is not sold to third parties. It may be transmitted to the insurers approached solely to prepare your quote. It is kept for as long as necessary for this purpose and applicable legal obligations.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. To exercise it: info@cinassur.be. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).

Cookies & trackers

This site uses cookies and trackers to ensure it works properly, measure its audience and, with your consent, run marketing. Except for strictly necessary cookies, no tracker is activated without your prior consent, collected via the banner shown on your first visit.

We distinguish three categories:
